Schools play a critical role in the academic and emotional growth of children and teams truly care about students.
In our current climate, being an educator means expectations are high and it can be difficult to find the right professional development or assistance with challenging situations. North Shore Special Education is here to provide educators with professional development, IEP facilitation, case consultation, and/or staff development to help create trusting relationships with parents of students with disabilities. Through collaboration and tailored services, we can help enhance your educational programming to best meet staff and student needs.

PROGRAM/SYSTEMS EVALUATION
There are times when teams need neutral feedback on special education programs. Another set of eyes to review data, conduct observations, review curriculum, and examine student progress from a wholistic view can be helpful in determining the effectiveness of a current program and/or provide insight on ways to enhance student success.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
North Shore Special Education Consulting works with a number of collaborators who have a variety of expertise, from designing student data MTSS systems to writing IEPs and 504s, conducting FBAs and developing effective BIPs, and leading difficult IEP meetings. We will tailor professional development to meet the needs of your staff whether it is ongoing or a short, small group training. Our goal is to assist schools in enhancing their skills to positively impact students.
CASE CONSULTATION
We recognize that collaboration is key to being an effective educator and the ability to consult helps teams to generate new ideas and approaches to address student challenges. We offer individual student problem solving that can be long or short-term with expertise in therapeutic approaches, data analysis, and implementation of individual student interventions, to name a few.
